| Allison S5600 Series |
|
Designed for use with diesel engines with general ratings of 550 net hp (410 kW). The S5600 features six forward ranges and one reverse with hydraulic controls, and six forward ranges and a choice of two reverse ratios with manual electric controls. The S5600 is typically used in oil field applications. Operation of an Allison-equipped vehicle is simple. Shifting decisions are limited to direction selection and required output speed, letting the operator concentrate on operating the other required implements or accessories. Electro-hydraulically controlled gar ratios provide continuous speed control for precise, efficient work. |
