The day we released the MD 3060, we gave fleet operators an exceptional tool for improving profitability. Flexible enough to work in a wide variety of vehicles, the close ratio MD 3060 is specifically designed for both city streets and open highway. A patented planetary gear arrangement offers outstanding ratio coverage, including overdrive gears, in a compact package. There's no power interruption between or during shifts, so you get better acceleration, a smoother ride and fewer torque shocks down the driveline. The MD 3060 is available with four, five or six forward speeds. Fourth gear is direct drive. Fifth and sixth are overdrive gears that offer better fuel economy at cruising speeds. |
