The B 500 is designed for higher horsepower engines and heavier buses in intercity and coach service. It is available with up to two overdrive gears for optimal fuel economy on the highway. Electronic controls keep the bus operating as efficiently as possible, to further enhance fuel economy. An Allison Automatic provides outstanding ease of operation. Drivers can keep both eyes on the road, both hands on the wheel and focus their attention on the road, for maximum passenger safety. Modular design makes the B 500 easy to maintain and service.
